“You know that one student who always asks questions in class? That was me in school. I was competitive and even at a young age, I felt like I could do something big. Once a teacher asked if anyone in class could beat him in english. I instinctively raised my hand. The whole class glared at me. The teacher simply smiled. I liked english, I always knew I wanted to be a writer. I spent my years trying to inspire others to write and enjoy literature. I have a very strong reading habit and try to read as much as I can. This has not only improved my creative writing skills but also given me a wider perspective on things. When it comes to the writing part, I try to write a few lines every morning. I believe in small, but consistent steps. I also started a blog somewhere along the way. The comments I got on the blog motivated me to do more. So after high school, I looked for something to help further my writing career. Fortunately, there was a paid internship available for a writer. I filled up the applications, got shortlisted and did an interview. They contacted me and told me I’d been selected. I got to write travel blogs for tour agencies with this internship. My 2020 went amazingly well. I also got closer to realising my dream of becoming a published writer. My first book is all ready now, only waiting for proper funding to be printed.

I am in college right now and still carry the same fascination for literature. I’m often asked what I get from writing or posting on my blog. I don’t write to make money out of it. It is simply my passion, and I plan on continuing for as long as I can. All of us have different passions, likes, and hobbies and want to make something out of it. But it is only through consistency and the right amount of energy that you can get to where you want to be. Some of us are luckier to have found our inner calling sooner. Some may take time. If you haven’t found it yet, don’t worry, keep working towards discovering it.”
